New volunteers commit to a whole week (Saturday to Saturday) in February.

The Dinosaur Dreaming field work can be quite physical. There are only very limited places for people who cannot perform all functions.

We will hold an online information session (probably October) and a Rookie's selection day (usually in November on the Bass Coast of Victoria).

If you are foreign or interstate but have special skills, please let us know and we may be able to waive the requirement to attend Rookies Day.

Why do you want to Volunteer?

Living with up to 20 people in one house

Carrying 10 kg up 80 stairs

Carrying 10 kg across an uneven shore platform

Examining rocks with a hand-lens in bright sunshine

Spending 8 hours on the beach in 30° heat
