Dinosaur Discovery Day at Inverloch
Saturday 21 February • 11am–2pm
Inverloch Visitor Information Centre (The Hub)

Step into the world of Australia’s ancient past with the Dinosaur Dreaming team. Drop in anytime between 11am and 2pm to explore a hands‑on fossil touch table featuring real specimens from the Bass Coast. Chat with working palaeontologists, learn how dinosaurs lived right here in Australia, and discover what makes Inverloch one of the country’s most important fossil sites.
At 12pm, enjoy a special dig update straight from the field, sharing the latest discoveries from this year’s excavation. Perfect for families, fossil‑fans, and anyone curious about the prehistoric life beneath our feet.
